South Dean Cottage is a three bedroom, self-contained part of the 300+year old farm house of South Dean Farm. The rest of the house is our home, which we share with our children Hana 14 and Harvey 8.

The farm is within the Exmoor National Park and surrounded by National Trust land. Being situated between Combe Martin and Lynton, there are endless opportunities for walks in any direction, 1/2 a mile northwards the cliff provide fantastic views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales.

The house is surrounded by gardens and has an adjacent paddock, amounting to approximately 3 acres of land, the majority of which is available to those renting the cottage.
You are welcome to have tea and scones with us on your arrival, before we show you around the cottage. Once settled in, you’re on your own to enjoy, what we hope will be a comfortable and relaxing holiday. We are however just next door should you have any problems or want information on the surrounding area.

The largest bedroom has a huge 6’ double bed from which the best views from the house can be enjoyed! It could be split into two 3’ singles and the room also has space for another bed. The second has two 3’ singles. The third a 4’ double.
